Ryu So-yeon of South Korea won her first LPGA Tour victory in two years on Sunday (local time) at the Canadian Pacific Women's Open.

In the final round of the tournament at the London Hunt and Country Club in London, Ontario, Canada, Ryu shot a 3-under 69 for a four-round total of 23-under 265, two strokes ahead of compatriot Choi Na-yeon who shot 67 on Sunday.

It was her third career LPGA win and her first since August 2012.

Ryu began the final round four shots ahead of Choi and Azahara Munoz of Spain and sealed the wire-to-wire victory.

Park In-bee, also of South Korea, the second-ranked player in the Women’s World Golf Rankings, finished third at 18-under 270.

“I’ve been waiting so long for the champagne,” Ryu said, according to the organizers. “I was ready to get champagne. I put champagne on In-bee maybe more than five times, but finally she gave it to me. So it feels great.”
