K-pop group Cool member Yuri gives birth to daughter

Yuri, a member of Cool, a popular K-pop group in the 1990s, gave birth to a child, her first daughter, at a hospital in Los Angeles on Aug. 17 (local time), her management agency in Seoul said Friday.

The daughter’s name is Sa Ri-ha, WS Entertainment said, adding that both 38-year-old Yuri and her baby girl are healthy.

Yuri (real name: Cha Hyun-ok) posted a writing, titled “I love Sa Ri-ha,” and several pictures in Instagram on the same day to make public the birth of her baby girl.

She got married to a businessman, surnamed Sa, who has a golfing-related business in the United States, last February. He is six years younger than her.
