Others included a number of K-pop stars, such as Leeteuk of boy band Super Junior; Suho of boy group EXO; Lizzy of girl group Afterschool; Dongju of boy band ZE:A; and Lee Gi-kwang of boy group B2ST.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, which has quickly spread around the world through social media, is to raise money and awareness to battle the disease.
