Germany’s Klose takes his World Cup total to a record 16

Germany’s Miroslav Klose has taken his World Cup total to a record 16 goals.

Klose, 36, scored his side’s second goal in the 23rd minute during the 2014 FIFA World Cup semi-final match against host Brazil at the Estadio Mineirao in Belo Horizonte, Tuesday (local time), and made it 2-0. Germany routed Brazil 7-1.

Previously, Klose tied with Brazil's former soccer player Ronaldo Luiz Nazario De Lima with a World Cup total of 15 goals.
