Crater Lake is part of Cascades Mountains.

Cascades Mountains is extending from southern Brithsh Columbia (Canada) through Oregon to North California.

They call the Cascades Mountains in Washington State as North Cascades and the more usual term people refer is North Cascade Mountains.

Oregon also has its full cascades range from the North border to South one.

Crater Lake is located in southern part of Cascades range. Due to this, it has a lot of mountains around Crater Lake as you can easily guess.

You can see all the mountains while driving three hours from Crater Lake to the city of Roseburg, 3 hours away from Portland.

You can see mountains and mountains all the way and it is one of the beautiful scenic drive ways in Oregon.
