Crater Lake is one of the famous tourist attractions in Oregon.

It is located in south-central Oregon near Bend. It is the only National Park in Oregon territory and it is famous for its deep blue color and water clarity.

This is one of caldera lakes which were made 6,000-8,000 years ago due to a massive volcanic eruption.

Because it is located in high elevation, it usually has a lot of snows until June around the park.

Even though you can reach there all year around, you can't drive around the lake except the summer season because it is closed.

That is why there are a lot of tourists from all over the other states, including CA, in the summer season to see the 'purest' lake in the United States.
